A Little About My Journey
From displaying my artwork in local spaces to creating custom paintings, my art journey has taken many forms. Along the way, I've had the opportunity to share my work with friends, family, and my local community.
7th Grade Art Class
Where It All Started
During the first week of 7th grade art class, my teacher handed me a paper plate, a smidge of $2 tempera paint, and a fraying brush. She gave the class an hour to paint whatever we wanted, with just one rule: “Cover your plate with color!!” I left her class with a poor attempt at a strawberry, paint all over my arms, and a smile on my face.
High School
Art Club
After that first week, I was constantly drawing on any piece of paper I could get my hands on. I quickly filled my first sketchbook and spent my free time painting posters for other teachers. I also became an active member of the school’s art club, where I could share ideas for new projects.
Northeastern University
Art Blanche + Climate Justice Hub
When I moved across the country for college, I was desperate to find a home away from home. I found and joined Art Blanche, a student creative arts organization that became such a special part of my undergraduate experience. I met so many lovely people who were part of this bubbling community. Together we laughed, danced, held mini art exhibitions, and sold our art to support important causes. I also had the opportunity to meet amazing staff and students from Northeastern’s Climate Justice & Sustainability Hub. I designed a mural for one of their competitions, which reflects some of the ways Northeastern is working toward a more sustainable future. Today, this mural lives in the university’s underground tunnel system.
Community Connection
Sharing My Passion
After graduation, I began selling paintings, stickers, and prints across the Greater Boston area. From displaying my work in coffee shops to participating in my first gallery showing, each experience has encouraged me to keep creating something that evokes an emotion or ten. Today, I’m excited to bring all of my work together through c.bella art! On this website, you can explore and shop my collection of prints, stickers, and nail art, all designed by me. Whether you’re looking to add a little color to your art collection, find a fun new sticker, or try some whimsical nail art, I hope you find something you love!
